"Being somewhat pre-historic myself I can still remember the good old days when saturday night was a toss up between the Androidss & the Newtones - These days the local music scene is about as exciting as a bankers convention in Tauranga.
Failsafe has done what no other record or tape has done -> captured the full & varied 5 year history of Christchurch music.
Over the years there have been numerous moves to put out a ch.ch. album, but nothing EVER EVENTUATED. Most bands on this cassette are now DEFUNCT & sadly Nick Carter of Playthings is no longer with us.
