From Profane Existence (April-May-June 1998) about Zoro compilation:
The Zoro is a great venue in Leipzig Germany that started as a squat and is now licensed. The place is run collectively and has a real sense of community about it with lots of activities going on there as well as gigs. This ep is benefit for the high costs of maintaining the building under the constant pressure of the city council breathing down their necks. The five bands featured here have more or less played there over the past couple of years and play varying styles of punk rock from melodic to crust to hardcore- Slum Gang, Corpus Vile (UK), Pink Flamingos, Cadaver Corpse and Lazy Man’s Load (Germany). It comes with a cool fold-out package with info and photos of the building and band info. Check it out. (Jon)
