Philippe Lafontaine reached the 12th place at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1990 with his song 'Macédomienne'. He thought of the song as it was 'private', although he sang it live to millions of people so It never saw daylight as an official release. To make sure it would stay that way he even destroyed the master tape in presence of press-people.
