Labels & title spine show that this release is called "Rocks". However, this copy has "13Q Presents Rocks" on the front cover. Apparently this was a promotional release that Epic would supply to Top 40 radio for giveaways. They would just add the station's logo above the word "Presents". 13Q was the Top 40 blowtorch in Pittsburgh throughout the '70's. Both front & back covers have short bios of the artists as well as photos of their then-current albums.

Two of the acts on this album, Wild Cherry & Q, have their roots in nearby Steubenville, Oh and Pittsburgh respectively. Possibly this was originally designed for the Pittsburgh market.

Comes with a vintage 13Q survey from the week of 2/15/1974 !!
