This compilation is a re-issue of a 1995 compilation entitled Various - Unpolished Diamonds - From The SAW Catalogue, which only contained one CD and included two additional tracks; Rick Astley's "My Arms Keep Missing You" and Princess' "Say I'm Your No.1".

These are the only compact discs to include the Suzette Charles tracks that she recorded for her PWL/RCA debut album, which was never released. Two additional tracks she recorded with Stock & Waterman, "After You're Gone", and "Every Time We Touch", remain completely unreleased as of 2015.

All the artists and titles on this compilation are stylized without any blank spaces. All mixes names are missing. All are taken from their original releases. Although the label on the spine appears as "BMG Publishing", the correct name is "BMG Music Publishing", which appears on the back, as well as its logo.
