AON Productions reissue of the 1984 Yugoslavian comp tape, originally entitled "Noć Nad Jugoslavijom" (= "Night Over Yugoslavia")

"Noć Nad Jugoslavijom" (Night Over Yugoslavia) is a documentation of Yugoslav underground bands who are a part of the hardcore scene, all of wich were active in 1984. Of course this documentation does not show all the bands but only those whose material I was able to get a hold of. In 1984 many bands were formed and also just as many broke-up. Some of these bands are active today. As you will har, not all the material on this tape is studio recorded and most of it is bad quality due to the poor recording facilities wich bands use to make copies. Not many bands have the money to record in studios while some just don't want to. But still it doesn't matter whether a band has a studio recording or not, or whether some band plays the fastest thrash or most melodic pop, what really counts is yhe ideas which they want to put across to others and the enthusiasm to do so in a possitive way, independent of the massive bullshit which is given to us today. This tape gives a look into the Yugoslav hardcore scene and through the lyrics you can get an idea of what it is about. Of course this tape could have had a larger amount of bands from other underground scenes and thus a musical variety. In the future I hope to do such a tape.
