The artists in this recording include some of the best Swiss folk talent. They perform under the direction of Willy Bestgen, composer and accordionist. In this recording he also plays the "Schwyzerörgeli," one of the oldest Swiss instruments, heard only very rarely. It is a fine piece of wood craftsmanship, painted with alpine flowers in gay colors. The instrument has 880 oscillations, two high octaves and plays in triple harmony. The alpine-horn is played by Daniel Bestgen. It is one of the oldest horn instruments in the world, carved out of spruce wood and brightly painted.

Manufactured by Request Records, Inc., New Rochelle, N.Y.
