Bill Dahl of Chicago has written hundreds of album reviews, feature stories and various articles about music and musicians. He was a Grammy(R) nominee for his liner notes to the Ray Charles box set, Genius & Soul: The 50th Anniversairy Collection. With Weldon A. McDougal III, Dahl is the author of Motown: The Golden Years.

Keith Hughes is the author of Don't Forget The Motor City, a Motown discography, and has written articles for various Motown/Soul magazines. His research work has appeared in several CD compilations, including the U.K. collections of Mable John and Barrett Strong. Hughes lives in Oxfordshire, England.
