The vision of Jean Monet for a united Europe is becoming a reality. Today there are 12 democratic states in the European Community with 320 million citizens who have different outlooks, different opinions and approaches to life but who all join in the effort to make the European Community a better place to live in. It is most likely that none of the European Community states could solve its problems by itself. Issues like unemployment, introduction of new technologies, protection of the environment, social justice etc. must be resolved by all the 320 million Europeans working together.

BP believes in and is committed to the European community and supports the progress of this ideal within the framework of its activities.

On the occasion of the Greek presidency and to emphasise the 30 years that have passed since the EC treaty was implemented, BP of Greece has produced this record with songs from all the EC member states, as it believed that “music can speak louder than words.”
