On May 6th 1995 thousands of party goers from around the world descended on Otmoor Park in Beckley, Oxfordshire England to indulge in a seventeen hour marathon of shamanic celebration of the end of the millenium dance culture with five different music arenas, 16 live acts and 50 international DJ's.
You are holding in your hand a souvenir of this event featuring tracks by some of the artists and dj's (in their studio incarnations) who helped to lead the frenzy.
The artists on this compilation are those whose music and attitude best reflects the madness of the greatest night of our lives (so far...) and those whose music has provided the soundtrack for our journey from our weekly club 'The Final Frontier' on Friday nights at Club UK in Wandsworth, to Tribal Gathering '94 at a disused airport in Munich and finally returning home to show that in spite of the Criminal Justice Act, apathetic self seeking governments and cynical media nothing can stop party culture whilst people of the new global dance generation continue to fight for their right to party, their right to free speech and free thought and the right to be whatever the fuck they want to be.
