Night Beat was one of Australia's favourite radio programs, broadcast weekly on the Macquarie Radio Network from 1951 through to the 1960's, Produced by Grace Gibson Radio productions. Starring Alan White as newspaper reporter Randy Stone, Night Beat was written by many of Australia's leading scriptwriters and starred many actors who later went on to television fame.
