The first DVD is the program "Go Ride The Music", featuring Jefferson Airplane and Quicksilver Messenger Service performing live in concert. Jefferson Airplane perform at an intimate indoor venue while Quicksilver Messenger Service are filmed at outdoor concert. There are also cameo appearances from David Crosby and Jerry Garcia, and a variety of miscellaneous relatively-related footage clips interspersed throughout the film.
The second DVD, "West Pole", subtitled "An Essay on San Francisco Adult Rock Sound", features Ace Of Cups, Sons Of Champlin, the Grateful Dead and the Steve Miller Band performing live in various settings.
