"In our closet above the hangers, and below the shoeboxes of pictures, rests a Tupperware box of forgotten mixed tapes. We recently went digging through them and started listening to them in the car. Like messages sent in a bottle from a far away time the magnetic tape, worn out and stretched, sang to us. I liked finding old treasures from our past, they played like time capsules worn and faded. It made me very nostalgic. In hopes to recreate this sound and feeling I had artists submit their recordings, encouraging lots of background noise accompaniment. I think this collection greatly shows people's interpretation or misinterpretation of this. I originally wanted to print the insert on tracing paper, but my printer disagreed, so, sadly regular white paper had to do.

Clear cassette case with green liner/shield, and numbered in sharpie on the case. 2-sided black and white insert with a piece of tracing paper the same size wrapped around the cassette, all inside a cover that is a full sheet of craft paper that is printed on both sides and folded into a cover.
