This recording was made from original acetate discs in the Republic Pictures Music Archives preserved in the Arts & Communications Archives at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. Used by that studio as safety checks for selections later printed on film tracks, these discs preserve the exact recordings used in the finished motion picture, but without the dialogue. The collection consists of more than 7,000 discs from most Republic feature films, serials and documentaries made or released by the studio from 1939 through 1956.
