Pro-printed demo tape.
2 different versions were produced, the first press which had covers made by hand and the 2nd which the band had printed. The tapes from these 2 versions also have a few differences. The versions can be diferentiated by the following signs.....

- 1st version covers were made on tan, perforated card-stock sheets. All text on the front cover, spine, inlay/credits and tape labels was typed directly onto each individual copy with a typewriter. Separate copies of the bands logo (in dark blue ink) were individually cut out with an exacto-knife and glued to the front of each copy.
- Due to all of these factors, this version's cover is a single-panel double-sided J-card, with a dark blue, raised logo. They also have tiny bumps visible along 2 of the card's edges, left over from the perforated cards being seperated. Also, each copy had its case sealed with a peice of tape. Due to the extensive time required for making each copy, a lot more 2nd version copies were made. Both versions are extremely rare, but the first version is by far the rarest.
- 2nd press covers were all printed from a finished layout, instead of hand-typed/assembled/etc. Covers are single-sided, with the inside and outside printed together, and then folded in half. Layout has many differences from the first version, such as spacing/placement, using 2 different fonts, credited names listed in all capital letters, and the logo on the front cover is black.
- The tapes of both batches were professionally duplicated onto unlabelled, single-sided, cut to length, black-shelled tapes, by Take 1 Studios. After this the band created and added the tape labels and covers themselves.
- Both presses of tapes have a tan tape label on A-side that includes band name and song titles. First press copies were all individually typed in a typewriter, and they also say "High Bias" in the top right. The 2nd press labels were all printed, not typewritten, so they use a different font, and in the top right says "High Bias, Dolby NR".
- 1st press used the round center peice of the tape labels, typing "Other Side, P C 1986 Violet Wind" onto each one and putting them on the blank B-side. On the 2nd Press the blank B-side was left unlabelled.
