Bridges Are Burning is an anthology compiling the very best of Wally Tax’s mid-seventies work for Ariola Records, including the hit singles Miss Wonderful, It Ain’t No Use, Evidently and Let’s Dance, along with sublime LP tracks like She’s As Lovely As A Breeze, She (Went Like She Came), It’s Too Late, No Life At All and the song Wally considered to be the best he ever wrote, It’s Raining In My Heart. These classic recordings are joined by a second disc featuring 20 previously unreleased demos from the same period. The CD booklet features rare photos along with full liner notes by Mike Stax, including interview material with Martin Duiser and Hans Hollestelle.
