Album Info

Release Date: 1986

Label: Cirrus Records

2nd pressing with minor cover differences and a different serial number from the previous Cirrus vinyl pressing. Released in mid-1986 after the band sold the last of the 1000 first pressing copies (released May 1985 and available only at live shows). The 2nd pressing was still available at shows, but was also available for the first time over mailorder.

Aside from the serial numbers on the records labels and runout etching, the covers and lyric sheets between the two different versions are very close to identical. There are two ways to differentiate between the pressing using only the cover. On the first pressing (S-3068) the two lines of copyright info on the bottom of the back cover are written in thin white letters. This would be changed on the second pressing (PSR-1004) where this info is written in bold white letters yeah, making them stand out more.
The only other difference is in the color saturation the artwork. The first pres is slightly darker, making the logo on top have a very slight blue color to it. The second pressing the logo is a brighter silver without the minor blue tint.

The very earliest copies of this version were also used for promotion. These copies include a merchandise order form (that has exclusive artwork on it as well), and a promotional sheet that has a biography, release/pressing info, the bands future goals and lots of other info, made in order to introduce the band to record labels. Some copies also include a band photo print. The merchandise order form is the only one of these 3 additional sheets that was sometimes included in later copies as well, mostly in copies bought by mail order.
