Notes for the 1994 Wckr Spgt MultiMediums release of Wckr Spgt's "Spastic War Bats"

The "Spastic War Bats" recording method was a breakthrough in experimental sound processing. Named by Steve Arkyand applied by Wckr Spgt, this technique involved the recording of rhythms and background vocals first, and the addition of music and lead vocals later.

About the "Spastic War Bat" sessions:

The first five songs on side one are from session one. The next two songs are from session two. HEADFOOT and CANDY ANNE are from a very confused session three. Note here that this is the original version of CANDY ANNE not the polished version from "Drops Of Love". The last four songs on side one are from session four. The first four songs on side two are from the acoustic session five. The next six songs are from the sixth session, and final, "Spastic War Bat" session. The next three songs were not from "Spastic War Bat" sessions but were recorded during the same time period. COSTA MEZA is a bonus track, recorded just prior to "Spastic War Bats".
