This album is commonly referred to as "The Green Album" to avoid confusion with the band's 1994 self-titled debut album, Weezer - Weezer (referred to as "The Blue Album").

Exclusive variant with free iPod skin, sold at Virgin Megastore. Skin is identical to those included in the Circuit City and F.Y.E. exclusive versions of Weezer's "The Blue Album", sold in the same year. Specifically, the skin features art from the Blue Album, NOT from the Green Album (this release). Unique marketing sticker included on front of shrinkwrap.

Insert erroneously lists both "Crab" and "Known-Down Drag-Out" as the fifth track. Jewel case with transparent plastic tray insert; reverse of traycard inlay is blank white except for the text "no" printed on the inner surface of one of the spines.
