The cover reminds of a gatefold, but is actually just like a normal 1-LP sleeve without the upper and lower side being glued together. Comes with art print of a painting by band member M. Engelhardt with lyrics on the other side and a note sheet for the songs 'Der Herd ist rot' and 'Am Feuer sitze ich' with a small photo of the band printed on the other side.

Text on inner side of 'gatefold' sums up plot of Lord Of The Rings books.

Track names are slightly different than on the 2001 CD-reissue, track order is the same though.
