Both sides were recorded ca. July, 1923 in Chicago, IL at Rodeheaver Recording Labratories.

Early repressing on labels lacking price notice at top. This label style was in use from early 1924 - June 27, 1925.

Side A was also released on Rainbow 1083 (as by "Homer Rude Heaven Wiseman Sextette") and Herwin 92009 (as by "Southland Jubilee Singers").

Side B was also released on Rainbow 1084.
