This is the new EP by Wurld Series of Christchurch, New Zealand. It follows last year’s album ‘Air Goofy’.

‘Stately and Befrothed’ is a sprawling, post-debut-album short form exploration continuing in the tradition of Lilys’ ‘A Brief History of Amazing Letdowns’ or ‘Watery, Domestic’ by Pavement. Whilst opener ‘Indiana Buzzing’ and second track ‘Slow Going’ are propulsive yet melancholic pop songs, tracks such as ‘The Bend’ and ‘Mound’ find the band stretching out, offering up big choruses along with longer, more expansive guitar workouts.
