"4CD set compiling the 54 tracks from Apple Venus Volume 1 + Wasp Star (Apple Venus Volume 2) and their respective demo albums Homespun and Homegrown. Includes 64 page book of lyrics and notes." Said notes are written by Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, who also signed early Idea Records-sold copies on the front of the booklet.

The box is matt laminated, with a peacock feather varnished on the box lid and a white matt slipcase. The CDs are housed in cardboard wallets with new artwork.

Includes a real peacock feather (not in all boxes) and a numbered content card enabling download of two new XTC songs (“Spiral” and “Say It”) and a “Stupidly Happy” ringtone (the two new tracks later appear physically on CD via Apple Bite and vinyl via Apple Vinyls).

Note that despite the similar concept and packaging, Apple Vinyls is only a reissue of the two studio albums, plus three non-demo bonus tracks, and thus isn't equivalent.
