In the Mirror is a compilation album by keyboardist and composer YANNI, released on the Private Music label in 1997. The album peaked at number 1 on Billboard's Top New Age Albums chart and at number 17 on the "Billboard 200" chart in the same year.
This compilation is often billed as a Compilation of YANNI favorites. It includes "In the Mirror" which is a solo piano piece and faster paced tracks such as "Forbidden Dreams" and "Chasing Shadows"."Aria" is specially presented in this album as performed in concert on the album Live at the Acropolis.

Before he became an internationally revered composer/performer, Yanni had amassed a large and distinguished body of work with his early recordings. IN THE MIRROR is a special collection of compositions spanning Yanni's career in the 80's and early 90's. Fully re-mastered using state of the art 20 bit technology, this compilation charts the remarkable evolution of a premier musical figure.

The fifteen tracks on IN THE MIRROR are drawn from every phase of Yanni's early work. They include: "In the Mirror," "A Love For Life," "So Long My Friend," and "Face In the Photograph" from Dare To Dream (1992); " In the Morning Light," "One Man's Dream," "Before I Go," "Enchantment," and "The End Of August" from In My Time (1993); "Within Attraction" from Out Of Silence; "Forbidden Dreams" from Keys to the Imagination (1986); "Once Upon A Time" and "Chasing Shadows" from Chameleon Days (1988); "Quiet Man" from Niki Nana; and, appearing for the first time on any album, a special radio edit of the "Aria" from Yanni's multi-platinum smash, Live At The Acropolis (1994).
