US promotional pressing of this 12" single was sent out to radio stations and media offices in the US in December 1985, before the retail release.

Of note for this single is the unique re-edit mix of her 1981 single "Walking On Thin Ice" on side B, exclusive to this disc.

Disc has the same 3 tracks as the retail version but has "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" printed on the labels (but not on the jacket). Plays at 45 RPM.

These promo pressings were pressed by Electrosound Group Midwest as identified by the "016"in small print on the labels (under "STEREO") and by the hand-etched "Emw" in the run-outs. They made of a higher-quality translucent vinyl (hold up to a light and you can see through it) which was common with promo releases and gold promo stamp releases sent out by PolyGram at this time.

Side A label states "Original Version On The Polydor Album 827 530-1 Y-1 "Starpeace"
Side B label states "This version is previously unreleased"

Disc comes in the generic green "ruler" 12" sleeve that PolyGram had been using for dance singles at the time. Some jackets may have come with a gold promo stamp.
