"Children’s Corner" (1997) was realized in the composer’s studio in Montréal in 1997 and premiered on May 7, 1998 at the University of Wales (Bangor, UK).The stereo version was commissioned by Sonic Arts Network (UK) with the assistance of The Arts Council of England.
The octophonic version (realized in 1998) was commissioned by ACREQ with the assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts and premiered in June 1998 in Montréal.
"Nuit" (1998) was realized in the Charybde Studio of the Institut international de musique électroacoustique de Bourges (IMEB, France) in 1998 and premiered June 1999 during Synthèse, the International Festival of Electronic Music and Creation (Bourges, France, 1999). Commissioned by IMEB.
"Fête" (2001) was realized in the composer’s studio in Montréal during the fall 2000 and winter 2001.
"Impromptu" - mixed version (1995) for piano, synthesizer/sampler and tape - premiered on January 30, 1996 by the Grame musicians (France) during a concert produced by SMCQ at Salle Pierre-Mercure in Montréal. Commissioned by SMCQ with the assistance of Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). The present performance was recorded at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in December 2000 and mixed at the composer’s studio.
"Impromptu" - tape version (1994) was recorded on "Musiques Naïves" in 1998.
"La Gamme" (1981, revised 2000) was realized in the Charybde Studio of the Groupe de musique électroacoustique de Bourge (GMEB — now the IMEB — France) in 1980 and premiered in June 1981 during Synthèse, the Festival international de musique expérimentale de Bourges (France, 1981). Commissioned by GMEB (now IMEB). The current version was revised in 2000.
"Ouverture" (1989) was realized in the composer’s studio in Montréal in 1989 and premiered in June 1989 during Synthèse, the Festival international de musique expérimentale de Bourges (France, 1989). Commissioned by GMEB.
