Boris Sacharow aka ZAAX brings a strangely retro / un-retro feeling EP of experimental electro gone wrong. This EP totally feels like unearthing some lost treasure or obscure discogs top priced gem, but without the cardboard box production of the 80's. Rhythms are broken and original and where there are straightforward, like in the title track, the melodic elements keep you on your toes.These ZAAX cuts are really timeless and could be from either 1986, 1996, 2006 or 2036, if we still have a planet by then. That must be the biggest compliment one can ever make a producer I think. I hope there will be many more tracks coming in the future from this awesome producer, but I wouldn't be surprised if the future brings him much bigger things than our tiny label.
