'Mouvements Nocturnes' represents two long-form pieces that were created during late night sessions in the Summer of 2020; A complete departure of how I typically write (the early hours of morning). It is intended for eventide listening when the world settles in and quiets itself where a moment of peace and silence abounds. All field recordings were captured during twilight excursions— midnight streams, distant nature vibrations, and insects singing in the humid, moonlit backdrop.'Mouvements Nocturnes' embody textural subtleties that envelope the listener, allowing them to get lost in the quiet of the night. Multiple layers of manipulated field recordings and slightly luminous synth work delicately converge, producing just under forty minutes of all encompassing, angelic drones. These are familiar, nostalgic sounds for those who yearn for the late night warmth in these colder days.
