Due to some problems with their management, Zita Swoon's previous album 'Big City' was not released in France. When they found a new label/distributor (Discograph) they decided to release the album in France, including some new recordings and extras, and calling it 'Big Blueville'. They also released the album in Benelux, with an edition of just 5000 copies.

Track 9 recorded January 10, 2008 at the Rabbitfield, Hoboken.

Mastered at Kabel, Vlierzele.

Track 2 'Looking For A Friend' was previously released as 'Big Black TV Cat' on A Beatband's Jintro Travels The Word In A Skirt.
