this work was a long labor of love (over a year) it is 100% sounds and samples solely recorded with my iphone. all samples edited in DAW then played and layered via korg nanopad. it is a little glitchy, a little crackly, a little hissy but lots of love went into it and i hope all who download it find something there that carries them away.

legion is my ninth album and a work in two parts, each part a section of one story; two possible paths of one mans life.

as above: contains the first five tracks in ambient form with a more fluid musicality and some drone. each of these tracks was played 'live' from a collection of cut and prepared fieldrecordings with minimal post production. a slightly lighter path chosen by the man although tinged with struggle and loss, an end which contains a journey of reflection.

so below: contains the last five tracks in a stronger drone directionality with a more minimal usage of both musical and fieldrecording elements. each of these tracks was played 'live' from the same collection of cut fieldrecordings with a heavier hand in post production. a darker path, a false nirvana countered with despair, an end which contains a death.
