BLMRVRSD (bloom reversed) is a reception of sudden change that happend in 2020. In the promising 2020, instead of exciting projects, plans and travels there is four walls and limited space and no guests. Attention was abruptly redirected to the everyday environment, simple activities and surrounding space, including soundscape. The compositions bases on soundscape recordings recorded from a balcony in the city center of Cracow (Poland) every day in May 2020. All the material in the album was self-produced. The piano parts are mostly improvised and are meant to reflect reactions to a new, not necessarily desirable reality. The unusual sound is complemented by some rhythmic parts and Moog and Korg MS20 synthesizers. The main sketch of each piece was written until noon and was constructed around the sounds of the environment and piano illustration. Out of nearly 30 pieces, 10 compositions have found their place on the album. Most likely, some of the captured nature sounds are going be difficult to be heard again in urban spaces soon.
