Ebul

Record label formed by Pete Waterman and Jive/Zomba in the mid-nineties best known for signing the pop band Steps.

The name is a combination of Pete Waterman's Eastern Bloc Records and Unity Records (5) labels: Eastern Bloc Unity Label.

The label was run under Zomba by Pete Waterman and Jive A&R man Steve Jenkins until 2002 when BMG purchased Zomba. Ebul was moved under Sony BMG Music Entertainment (UK) Ltd. when BMG merged with Sony in 2004.
