Merkur

Merkur Elektro Record discs were 8 inch (20 cm) discs sold between 1929-ca. 1932 in German and Hungarian department stores.

Produced by the Deutsche Crystalate GmbH in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Matrices with a C-prefix were recorded in Germany; others with a J-prefix were British recordings.

Some of the recordings were simultaneously released on other budget labels, like Frany Record, Truso, Woolco, and Wuba Record.
