Wax Mage Records (Label)

Wax Mage Records LLC is a record label in Cleveland, Ohio operating independently inside the pressing plant of Gotta Groove Records. Heath Gmucs and Sarah Snyder (nee Barker) created the Wax Mage Records label in 2015. Barker left Wax Mage and Gotta Groove Records in 2017. In 2018 Heath was joined by Tyren Creamer who creates designs and presses Wax Mage creations. All WMR releases will have a WMR matrix code such as "WMR R003" as well as Wax Mage Records on the jacket and labels. Although normal runs are limited to 25 and hand colored, the Chayla Hope – Damn, Feelings album was pressed in black (the only Wax Mage done so) and limited to 50 copies.

This entry should only be used for releases with a WMR matrix number. Wax Mage design creations used by Gotta Groove Records for runs greater than 25 do not get a Wax Mage Records tag.
