Olympia Fotocronache was founded in 1958 by Walfrido Chiarini as a photo-news agency.
During the 80's the agency widened its interest to sport, show, politics and international news; in 1991 an operating deal with Reuters brought Olympia to a worldwide coverage.
In the 90's the "creative" division opened, setting the company role in the advertising market.
Since 1997 the company is headed by Chiarini's son, Fabrizio.
During year 2000 the company name changed to Olycom.
