Color Study

American company comprising an indie record label and artist management firm, located in Goshen, Vermont, founded by artist manager Spencer Kelley (2), and managed with partner Ethan West.

Initially started as an artist management company, circa 2014.

Expanded December 6, 2019, as a record label, a pop- and folk-focused imprint, founded as a joint venture with Ultra Music, and acquired by Sony Music in 2021.

The label's initial signings were Vermont's Henry Jamison, Berkshires-based Haux (2), Ireland's Rosie Carney, and Nashville's Charli Adams.

Named after Wassily Kandinsky's painting "Color Study: Squares With Concentric Circles."
