Discos Pueblo

Mexican folk label founded in 1973 by Los Folkloristas.

One of Discos Pueblo founders also co-founded Fonarte Latino in 1983, which began distribution of Disco Pueblos among other small independent Latin American folk record labels. Basically, the record labels "merged", though Discos Pueblo has maintained the original imprint on titles released in the 1980's and 1990's, and serves as sub-label of more recent releases for Los Folkloristas.
