The Danish branch of the multinational record company PolyGram, renamed from Nordisk Polyphon Aktieselskab in October 1978. In December 1998, when PolyGram was integrated into Universal Music Group, the company became part of Universal Music A/S. Managing director was Stefan Fryland.

Name variations include PolyGram (with upper case "G"), with or without "Records", with or without "A/S" or "A.S." and sometimes post-fixed by "Denmark" or simply "DK".
