Founded by promoters Maire Masco & Dennis R. White of Pravda Productions. The label was run out of "DT House" (home of Desperate Times Magazine) in Seattle's University District. The label logo was designed by Grant Hart (R.I.P.) of Hüsker Dü. Both Dennis R. White and Maire Masco went on to become staff of Seattle's 'The Rocket' magazine.
