Replacement series for the original CD Pool series Underground Beats, which ran from 1997 to October 2004.
For a while the series was named 'Underground and Alternative', but has remained simply 'Underground' since 2010. A new volume is released every month.
The catalogue numbers represent a continuation of the original Underground Beats series; for example '1201' responds to 'Series 12, Volume 1', although this series did not have any series or volume numbers featured on the covers, opting instead for the month and year.
