Insubordination Records

Founded in 1996 by Reggie Silvestri and Pat Kim of the Beatnik Termites, Insubordination Records originally served as a small, home grown label to support releases from the Beatnik Termites but expanded to underground power pop and punk from mainly Midwestern US punk bands. By 1999, the label included artists from around the whole of the US.
In 2000 Insubordination Records officially merged with Imperfekt Records and, by early 2004, the label had also welcomed Mark Enoch and his label Knock Knock Records. All 3 labels now operate under the Insubordination name and are responsible for a wide range of pop, power pop and pop punk releases from around the world.
