GOR
GOR Discos or Gor Diskak in basque, was a Spanish independent label based in Pamplona (Navarra), founded in 1991 by brothers Marino Goñi, Patxi Goñi and Antonio Maria Goñi after Soñua and Oihuka labels . The company releases albums of punk, ska, heavy, pop, rock, dance, modern metal...
Label closed in mid 2023 (last reference “Azken kanta” by Balerdi Balerdi).
Their activity was divided into several areas:
- Label: Gor Diskak
- Management: Gor Kontratazioa (since 2005)
- Distribution: Gor Distribución (since 1991 in Basque Country but distribution over Spain since 2002)
- Publishing (=Editorial): Jarauta Ediciones Musicales S.L. founded in 2001
Workers at: Marino and Antonio Goñi (both left label in 2011), Patxi Goñi, Orreaga Morrás (both the last workers) and Blanca Izkue (Balerdi Balerdi), Gorka Urbizu (Berri Txarrak).
