Custom recording, mastering and cutting studio based in Binfield, Berkshire owned and run by John Martin. Closed in March 1985.
Reported to have been operated from two sheds in the back garden of a suburban house, CRS offered recording, mastering, cutting (direct to acetate or lacquer). Operated a Scully Lathe and a Presto Mono Lathe.
Records manufactured, mastered and cut at County Recording Service can be identified by an etched "CRS" in the runouts.
