Electronic music record label started as a collaboration between Dutch DJ & producer nthng (aka Jurriaan Terpstra) and Freestyler (aka Jan Simon, Mohammed Al Hamza).

In November 2023, it was announced that "nthng has decided to part ways with Transatlantic and the label work; accordingly Freestyler will continue to run the label and it’s curation independently".
