Universal South
American record label started in 2001 under Universal Music Group by record producers Tony Brown and Tim DuBois. The label initially specialized in country music artists, but also signed contemporary Christian artists as well.
Brown and DuBois stepped down in 2006, with Mark Wright, also a record producer, taking their place as label president, renaming the label as Universal Records South.
