Smu[th] Digital (Label)

'smü[th] Music's origins revert back to early 2005 where Washington D.C. based founder, Jav D, began a Digitally Imported radio show. Since it's inception, the 'smü[th] Music radio show gained great popularity; being syndicated on several different radio stations around the globe. Jav D then envisioned the creation of 'smü[th] Music, not only as a radio show, but a record label. And in late 2007 that envision took to true form. 'smü[th] Music's main ideaology was to revel in the appropriate treatment of it's artists. And, keeping the original ideaology in-tact, 'smü[th]'s San Diego based co-owner and director of A&R, Sharik Ali Sayed, implemented a flexible musical directive; providing genre-free electronic dance music to it's listeners. Sharky ensures these two main ideologies are kept in-mind when objectively choosing music for the label. The 'smü[th] sound ultimately consists of innovative, qualitative, fun and danceable electronic dance music that can be enjoyed by trance, techno, house and/or progressive listeners alike.
