Dew Doo Man Records

Named after the humorously dubious nickname of renowned Hip-Hop producer Prince Paul, Dew Doo Man Records (stylized as Dewdooman on its logo) was launched in 1991 as Paul's imprint label for Rush Associated Labels, but unfortunately was shut down within months that same year due to internal issues, making it the shortest-lived RAL imprint.
Dew Doo Man's only act was Resident Alien (2), a trio that made a minor splash with the label's unofficial anthem "Ooh The Dew Doo Man", thanks in no small part to the cable network BET, who made its music video a staple on their "Rap City" program. Resident Alien released only one other video/single, "Mr. Boops" before disbanding for good.
