Kon-Kord Records

American record label from Hollywood, California, established in 1979, by twin brothers Estus and Lester Patterson. They left the gospel group the Southern Sons to form a duo known as the Soul Twins. Their first recording was for Big Beat. They changed the name to the Patterson Twins and joined Star Fox Enterprises with 2 singles released on the King Label. Later they did a one-off at Malaco cut at Muscle Shoals. KonKord's first release was distributed by Montage. Estus Patterson eventually took complete control of the company and released product on artists like Finis Tasby, Sterling Harrison, Bishop Hudson & Rusty Jackson.
