Established by Sal Watts and Jamie Watts during the making of the motion picture Solomon King. In 1975 Warren Gray, former sales manager of Sussex Records, was recruited to handle Sal / Wa Records. Sal / Wa also had publishing and management divisions under the company umbrella.
