Ektoplazm
Following the growth of the Ektoplazm distribution platform, DJ Basilisk established the Ektoplazm netlabel in 2008. The label has no defining sound; instead, it is dedicated to showcasing the range and diversity of the global psychedelic trance movement. The Ektoplazm netlabel group included Omnitropic (for downtempo) and Drumlore (for techno), with every imprint operating until 2018.
Releases with catalogue numbers beginning with "EKT" are official Ektoplazm releases. From 2008 to 2018 this prefix was followed by release type: "EP", "LP", or "VA" for compilations. Do not use this label for distribution credits unless explicitly stated on a release's artwork or elsewhere.
Earlier (pre-2008) releases can be found on Ektoplazm Records, the physical media incarnation of the label.
